My name is Beth Fike and I am a quadriplegic from birth. However that has not stopped me from living and loving life. I know that I have been blessed by God as I believe we all have. HE has given me the gift of art, and shown me how to make a way for myself, my husband and our 14 year old son. I draw with a pencil my mouth, and have created (with HIS inspirations) all sorts of images from landscapes, animals, seasonal art, (anything and everything). I have had the blessing to have been featured on television, at trade/art shows and in the media. I have also been the recipient of various awards and have created originals for Erma Bombeck (featured on "Good Morning America") and Sir Elton John (a portrait of him is displayed in his AIDS Foundation office in CA). I am presently working on a portrait of Mike Myers, Rev. Della Reese Lett, as well as book illustrations and now eBay. . . God is so good. . . I have also maintained a successful line of greeting cards and silk-screens.
My artwork is an extension of my spirit and of my very essence. I believe that my gift/talent is a gift that flows through me from God and that this has given me the ability to create these "Loving Expressions". I can only hope that I can gift HIM back with how I use the gift HE gave to me, by actively drawing and sharing the work with all of you.
